Houston Apartment Locators

Does a huge increase of newly constructed apartment homes in Houston by Construction companies favor them or the local residents and city of Houston?

I’ve been going back and forth with this dilemma and how it effects not only me as an Houston apartment locator but, my clients moving to Houston from another apartment and ones moving from out of state. Newer construction of apartment homes are becoming an abundance in Houston I have a huge list of them and all my customers seem to be more attracted to them getting more bang for there buck. I conclude the benefit is to me and my clients in the short term.

What about Houston Construction Companies and Contractors, well that’s not an easy one. Most articles I’ve read state Commercial Construction companies have gone bankrupt or out of business. I feel comfortable stating that Commercial Land and office vacancies have shot through the roof! So then how is Houston leading in new apartment construction and which multi family construction companies remain afloat? But, if these over supply of apartments don’t lease up as fast and they are being built look out you vendors because nobody’s going to get paid. So far the effect has been rents are slipping to all time lows! They are offering some of the highest rental concessions I’ve seen in my many years of being a Houston Apartment Locator. “3 months free rent” and “$500-$1000 more if you lease a unit today.”

Well as an apartment hunter you better do your research and call a locator to find out these so called “Look n Lease” specials that no apartment leasing agent will tell you over the phone its what they have to get you to lease today. An apartment locator on the other hand, can find out those specials in advanced and cater your apartment search based on those one time and for a short time only “Look n Lease” specials.
